Event Details
Anna's Amazing Race
is a fun day held rain or shine with the mission of raising money for Cystic Fibrosis. Let's have fun!

Anna is fighting Cystic Fibrosis and this race is to raise money for research and a cure.

Teams
Your team of 4 will register online and you can pick a team color/description.  If your choice is already taken, we will contact you to choose another team color/description. Each person must register. You can register separately or the entire team can register at one time.  You will be prompted for Team color, first name, last name, and email address of each participant.

Upon completion of registration, you will receive your team color/description, sponsorship sheet, and sample email and online link for donations and sponsorships.  It is important that you send this out to all your family and friends.

All teams from prior years have first "dibs" on their team color from prior year(s).

Individual racers that do not have a team of 4 may be assigned to a team.

Teams can coordinate outfits to their team color, decorate their car and be creative.  The team with the most spirit will win an award

GPS devices are allowed.

The Race
Date: Saturday May 17th, 2014
Arrive: 1:00 PM (Arrive late and your team will be penalized for every minute you are late)
Race Starts: 1:33 PM

Start Location: Chipmunk Pavilion Rocky Ridge Park York, PA (It holds more people, so get your teams in now)
Directions:
From Rt. 30, take Mt. Zion Rd. (Rt.24) north for 1 mile. Turn right onto Deininger Rd. and follow into park.

Each team will be given a clue on each task and will be responsible to find each place and complete the tasks. Tasks will be both mental and physical challenges.

Race will last about 3 hours depending on how fast you are.  All teams are to return by 5PM if not finished.

Some of previous year's tasks included kicking large beach balls up reservoir hill, planting flowers at a greenhouse, decorating and eating cupcakes blind folded, creating a Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Poster, adding all the items on a restaurant menu and selecting the correct total, re-creating a painting from a photograph, singing and dancing as a group, finding specific items in a cemetery, and an interesting obstacle course.


Raising Money
Each person is required to raise $25 per person ($100 for the team).  You can pay this or obtain sponsers.  We hope your team will raise the most.  Please raise as much as you can. Donations and sponsorships are made via a separate link that will be emailed after registration is complete.  Donations and sponsorships can also be made via paper form that will be emailed to each team member.

Awards
Awards will be given to those teams raising the most money, 1st - 2nd - 3rd across the finish line, and the team with the most team spirit in car decorations and team outfits.

Food
Food and drink will be provided for after the race unless you have special dietary needs.  Please feel free to bring something.

Raffle
At the end of the race, there will be many raffles available from local businesses.  Each team member and volunteer will receive 4 free tickets and have the opportunity to purchase more chances to win and raise money for Cystic Fibrosis
